Permanent Exhibits
We built our new home in 1973 when we moved to our current location from the basement of the county courthouse. In 1983 the Agricultural Wing was added to the building. The conceptual work was done by local artist, Charles Beck, who worked with numerous volunteers to create these wonderful exhibits.
Visitors always comment about the size and design of our exhibits. Come see what everyone is raving about!

One-room rural school - Otter Tail County's landscape was dotted by more rural schools than any other county in the State of Minnesota. This display represents what it was like to attend a rural one room country school.
Chapel - One of the first buildings built in most communities was a church. This display represents the religious community that was intrigal to all communities in Otter Tail County.
