| Our research center is official known as the "E. T. Barnard Library" in honor of the Historical Society's first secretary. The archives was dedicated in honor of our long time volunteer and friend Ann Smalley Jordan on May 22, 2004. | ||||||||

9 a.m. to 5 p.m. Monday-Friday. Our library is closed Saturday and Sunday. |

Three microfilm readers. One microfilm reader/printer. Over 1,200 rolls of microfilm: County and Surrounding County Newspapers, County and Surrounding County Census Records, Naturalizations, Alien Registrations, ELCA Church Records. Book Collection: Over 2,190 books covering various topics related to Otter Tail County and Minnesota's history. Indexes: Birth, Marriage, Death, Cemetery, Obituaries, Naturalization. Township history boxes containing information on Otter Tail County's 62 townships, past and present villages, our 289 rural schools, churches, etc. Photography Studio Negative files available for reprinting: Vernon - Flanigan Photography, Fergus Falls, 1970-1998; Farrar Photography, Fergus Falls, 1966-1984; MJP Studio, Battle Lake, 1997-2000. |
